Located in Bourne, the amazing Bourne Scenic Park might just be one of the most one-of-a-kind camping locations in the entire state. You won’t be disappointed with a visit here.

A place where memories are made that’s nestled underneath the Bourne Bridge on the “mainland” side of the Cape Cod Canal, the Bourne Scenic Park is the first campground you’ll come to when you visit Cape Cod. Site has 420 sites with W/E hookups, 30 Non-electric sites, 5 Rustic Cabins and 2 Swimming Pools.

Bourne Scenic Park is located on the banks of the Cape Cod Canal, and in close proximity to the famous Aptucxet Trading Post Museum. Founded in 1951 and is still going strong today with over 465 campsites to choose from, there are hot showers and clean restrooms, as well as internet access and cable TV.

This beautiful campground provides numerous fun activities and things to do. You can fish, hike nearby trails, rollerblade along the banks of the Cape Cod Canal, or hang out in the recreation hall and participate in the scheduled activities. You can light a fire, do some grilling, or pick up supplies at the camp store.

This gorgeous location allows you to enjoy the beauty of the Cape Cod Canal or set off on tour to see many of what the Cape has to offer from the Islands of Nantucket and Martha’s Vineyard to Provincetown or north to Plymouth and Boston. All this is within just 1 hour of the campground.

Fall is a popular time to visit because it offers the best weather and fewer crowds. Providing some terrific views of the canal and bridges, the site is one of a few campgrounds on Cape Cod that allows campfires. You can sleep in tents, rustic cabins, or drive a motorhome or RV into the park.
